Dr. Wang earned both an M.S. and a Ph.D. in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in China. She has been practicing and teaching acupuncture and oriental medicine for more than 30 years. Her professional training in China focused on integrating Chinese and Western medicine philosophies, particularly in neurology and acupuncture. One of the projects in which she participated, the use of acupuncture to prevent dementia, received national and governmental awards. She has also published over 20 research papers on acupuncture and oriental medicine.
She specialized in the relief of many pain conditions. These include, but are not limited to: neck, shoulder and lower back pain; sciatic pain; migraines and other headache pain; menstrual pain; arthritis; fibromyalgia; endocrine disorders such as PMS, irregular, late and early menstrual cycle; obesity; and other conditions including depression, anxiety, stress, insomnia, stroke problems of aging, and facial rejuvenation.
